This step by-step-tutorial will provide you with instructions to Install and Use iMPlayer on Firestick, Fire TV, and Android TV Box.

iMPlayer is one of the Best IPTV Players available that works well with IPTV Services that provide an M3U URL or Xtreme Codes API.

This is a great addition to other IPTV Players such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters.

Check with your current IPTV provider on whether they grant access to their M3U URL prior to going through this guide.

You can usually find this in your welcome email, support documents, or online discussion board that most IPTV services offer for their subscribers.

There is both a premium version and a free version of the iMPlayer software available for use. However, TROYPOINT suggests purchasing a premium account for a much better experience.

The premium option includes the following features not available with the free version:

• Recording
• Adding channels to Favorites
• Catch-up
• Rewinding feature
• Multiview
• Locking channels
• Support for multiple playlists
• Customizable TV Guides
• Manual Channels sorting

Like most IPTV players, without using the premium version there isn’t much sense in using this app.

We suggest first installing the free app via the instructions below.  If you like the app, you can register for the premium version and we cover that below as well.

Use the steps below to install iMPlayer on your preferred Streaming Device.

Install iMPlayer on Firestick/Fire TV and Android

In this example, I am installing the iMPlayer app on an Amazon Firestick 4K.  We must side-load this application due to the fact that it isn’t available inside the Amazon App Store.

1. Install the Downloader app from your respective App Store (Amazon App Store or Google Play) and turn on Apps from Unknown sources in the settings of your streaming device.

2. Launch Downloader.

3. Click Allow.

4. Click OK.

5. Place your cursor in the URL box and click the OK button on your remote to open the keyboard.

6. Type the following URL exactly as shown here: https://troypoint.com/im and click Go.

• Important Note: this APK file is not hosted by TROYPOINT. This link is pointing to the installation file hosted at implayer.tv.

7. Wait for file to download.

8. Click Install.

9. Click Done.

10. This will take you back to Downloader. Click Delete.

11. Click Delete again.

12. Hold down the home button on your remote and select Apps.

13. Scroll to the bottom and hover over iMPlayer. Click the Options button on your remote (three horizontal lines). Then select Move.

14. Drag iMPlayer to the top of your apps list and click to drop.

15. Launch iMPlayer and click Allow.

16. Choose whichever theme you prefer.

17. If prompted with an update click the Update button.

18. Wait a few seconds for iMPlayer to update.

19. Click Install.

20. Click Done.

21. Relaunch the iMPlayer app.

22. That’s it! You have successfully installed iMPlayer. I suggest following further instructions below for setting up the IPTV player.
